Techrules company, which is based in Beijing, published a teaser of the new supercar, which name is meanwhile kept in secret. It is known that it became the the direct heir of GT96 TREV concept concept car, shown at Geneva auto show last year. The premiere of a novelty also must be held within the future showroom in Geneva.
The teaser represents the design sketch of famous Italians Dzhordzhetto and Fabrizio Giugiaro. They worked on appearance of Chinese supercar. Other Italians, from L.M. Gianetti, created the chassis. Certainly, the huge emphasis in design is placed on aerodynamics. The body took streamline shapes and slightly resembles the jet plane.
They worked on the Turbine-Recharging Electric Vehicle (TREV) power plant in Techrules. It consists of the microturbine, which speed of rotation reaches 96 thousand revolutions per minute. Its power makes 36 kw, the most part of the made energy is used for operation of the generator connected to batteries. In total 6 electric motors, which are powered from batteries are installed in the car: 2 — in front, 4 — behind. In total they give the power of 1030 hp, the peak torque — 8640 Nm! The power reserve strikes too: the car will be able to pass nearly 2000 km without recharge.
It is interesting that the driver's seat is located in the center, and rear-view mirrors are replaced by cameras (though operation of cars with mirrors replaced by cameras is allowed only on roads of Japan today). The mass of the supercar will make less than a ton.
