More than 30 years the rare Ferrari sports car was "imprisoned" in one-room apartment in in West Hollywood.
Recently the owner of the car made the decision to sell out his things because of moving to another city. The rare Ferrari 250 GT PF Coupe of 1959 was bought by the car owner's lawyer, who helped him to settle the formalities connected with moving. Parties didn't disclose the amount of the transaction.
The owner, who "immured" the sports car at home, bought it in July, 1975. After 8 years the motorist decided to stop operation of the car. He didn't dare to store a rarity outdoor, as in the 80th years Hollywood was not the most safe area of Los Angeles. So, the sports car registered in "one-room apartment" of the Californian. A wall of the house was broken for the time in order to drive the car into the room. The owner took over the wheels, transmission and steering wheel, put the car on the fixing stand in the case of an earthquake. The body was slowly restored in the apartment, however the sports car wasn't completely restored before sale.
In 2017, in order to get the Ferrari out of the house, it was necessary to dismantle a wall again. All work on the recovery of the rare car took 5 hours. Now the model is waiting for a serious restoration.
