The Apex AP-0 is a Hong Kong-made supercar with a carbon body

Hong Kong-based automobile maker Apex has released a new teaser image of its impending ‘dragon-like’ supercar called AP-0, scheduled for Geneva show reveal next week.

Based on the new pic showing the hood (and the old one with the general outline), the styling looks distinctly Eastern and does indeed evoke certain draconic associations. The rear end with its elongated roof fin and the tooth-like radiator grille inserts reinforce the impression.

The vehicle boasts a body made entirely of carbon fiber, resulting in a curb weight lower than 1,200 kilograms (2,645 lbs). The engine specs of the Apex AP-0 remain shrouded in mystery.

Apex has only one car model on its current lineup, and that is the track-only AP-1 (shown on the video). Despite its formidable looks, the racecar packs a 2.3-liter EcoBoost mill rated at 355 hp (265 kW).
