Chinese Chehejia company, founded by three businessmen, plans to develop a double electrocar with a tandem arrangement of seats for the domestic market. The innovation will receive the name Chehejia SEV, and its price will be slightly more than the cost of the conventional motorcycle— 50 000 yuans or 430 000 rubles. Сrossover with three seats will also appear in a model range of a new brand in future.
Chehejia expect their electric car will be in demand among residents of apartment buildings. The driver will be able to charge car accumulators directly in his/her apartment: at the end of day two batteries can be removed (their weight about 10 kg) and connected to a conventional power supply at home. There will be enough one night to recover a charge completely.
Developers are sure that their invention has a lot of advantages: mobile batteries exclude the need to pull the extender from the apartment or to look for special recharging stations , and the vehicle can't be hijacked without accumulator. The only difficulty with which engineers of Chehejia try to cope now, lies in a deficit of cheap batteries with sufficient capacity. Chinese led out two years for the decision of this task, then Chehejia SEV will be launched in production.
