At the framework of the exhibition Quail Motorsports
Gathering the famous designer Ken Okuyama presented his new extravagant
supercar, built on an Italian platform.
In fact, to create the car Kode 0 ("code
zero"), the basis was taken supercar Lamborghini Aventador, with
substantially modified appearance. Ken Okuyama's new project is executed in the
spirit of the works of Marcello Gandini, the designer of the cars Lancia
Stratos Zero, Lamborghini Countach and Ferrari Moduro, and the stylistics of
cars of the 1970s.
The appearance of Kode 0 is distinguished by the
following elements: original front splitter, LED optics, 20-inch front and 21-inch
rear wheels, Pirelli P-Zero tires and a special exhaust system. Since the main
elements of the body of the novelty are made of carbon, the car turned out to
be 25 kilograms lighter and, accordingly, faster than the Aventador model.
Under the hood of the supercar, the power vehicle,
also borrowed from the "donor" Lamborghini Aventador, is a
700-horsepower (690 Nm) 6.5 liter V12 engine that works in tandem with the
seven-speed robotic ISR transmission.
The cost of his new masterpiece designer has not yet
reported.
