Honda’s NeuV (New Electric Utility Vehicle) was unveiled at CES on Thursday. New concept car is based on the ideas of the future, ranging from electric charging, to autonomous driving, car sharing, and connectivity.
Honda has unveiled no ordinary self-driving EV. The NeuV has an AI assistant called HANA (Honda Automated Network Assistant). It's able to monitor the driver's emotional state and make various recommendations, offer him the most optimal routes and even make playlists for travel.
In addition, Honda's system provides an automated ride sharing. The company is based on the premise that private cars spend 96% of their life cycle in the parking lot. You can buy this Honda and rent it out at the same time through an app on your smartphone. That allows you to receive income from the use of your car. The HANA is also able to search for passengers, which you can pick up along the way.
The NeuV, with 74 horsepower and 20.0-kWh battery pack, can travel between 100 and 200 miles. The car also includes an electric skateboard and a full-width touchscreen display across its dashboard.
