The first carbon roadster from Donkervoort

The Dutch automaker delivered to its customer the first copy of the D8 GTO Bare Naked Carbon Edition sport car made 95% from carbon fiber. The owner of an exclusive car from Germany wished not to announce his name.

Carbon roadster is made, without a small, the entire bodywork, including a safety cage, exterior mirrors and engine compartment protection. The total weight of Donkervoort D8 GTO Bare Naked Carbon Edition is 695 kilograms.

Especially for the first instance of the model, Donkervoort together with the German chemical company BASF developed the unique color range of Monte Carlo Blue Carbon.

In the engine compartment of the carbon sport car there is a five-cylinder supercharged engine Audi volume of 2.5 liters. It generates 380 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. The engine works in tandem with a five-speed "mechanics".

Dynamic characteristics of the Donkervoort D8 GTO Bare Naked Carbon Edition are as follows: acceleration to the first "hundred" is 2.7 seconds, and to 200 km/h - 7.8 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is more than 270 kilometers per hour.

The minimum cost of a roadster starts from the mark of 182 000 euros. The D8 GTO Bare Naked Carbon Edition will be released in a limited edition of 15 units.
