The Mexican portal Autologia has posted spy shots of
the new sedan without camouflage. Despite the fact that soon the photos were
removed, the automotive media had enough time to copy them.
The new Volkswagen Jetta received a modern stylish
design, executed in the spirit of the new brand direction. It is assumed that
the sedan will change the modular platform to MQB, so it will become safer and
larger than its predecessor.
As for the engine range, the machines will be equipped
with TSI turbochargers with a working volume of 1.4 and 2.0 liters, and for a
more budgetary configuration there will be a 1.6-liter petrol engine
"atmospheric".
The exact date of the premiere is not yet reported,
but the Autologia edition noted that this event will be held in the very near
future.
