Mercedes-Maybach has recently revealed a teaser video of an ultra-luxury car concept it has been working on for the upcoming International Automotive Exhibition in Beijing (Auto China 2018).
The opulent vehicle will debut under the “stage name” of Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury. The teaser portrays a richly decorated blue-and-white car interior interspersed with gold. The passenger compartment is divided into two parts by a massive panel – which the manufacturer has managed to turn into a veritable tea bar enough for a small tea ceremony.
Commenting on the video, car professionals seem to agree that the Vision Mercedes-Maybach Ultimate Luxury concept utilizes the same car platform as the next-generation Mercedes-Benz GLS, which premieres next year.
