So the American start-up Workhorse demonstrated its - a van complete with a cargo droning. The all-wheel drive car, named Workhorse N-Gen, received a composite body, as well as a system that allows you to remotely control not only the car itself, but also the drone.
The car is equipped with a hybrid power plant, the battery charge is enough for 160 kilometers, and a 1.6-liter gasoline engine increases the range by another 120 kilometers.
Cargo drones are available at an additional cost. Thanks to the composite materials, it turned out to be very light and capable of carrying a weight of up to 4.5 kilograms. According to the creators of the Workhorse N-Gen, the aircraft is designed to deliver correspondence and parcels. It can be in the air for about half an hour, and its maximum speed is 72 km/h.
