Another teaser of its new
car was presented by TVR. According to preliminary data, the sports car will be
called the classic model, produced before 2002, whose name is Griffith.
The image shows a
translucent silhouette of the future car, its technical equipment and massive
"rollers".
The novelty will be driven
by the 480-strong 5.0-liter V8 engine from Cosworth shown in the picture.
Together with the motor will put to work a mechanical gearbox. The maximum
speed of a high-performance car will be 320 km / h.
Thanks to the fact that the
novelty will be built on the basis of a lightweight chassis made of carbon and
aluminum, the Griffith mass will be less than 1200 kilograms.
By the way, the acceptance
of orders for a novelty will soon cease, due to the fact that almost all 500
copies of the car are sold. The starting cost of the car is 90 000 pounds
sterling.
The public debut of the
sports car TVR Griffith will take place at the Festival of Speed in Goodwood
on September 8.
