Three finalists of the "World Car Awards" contest were chosen at the International Motor Show in Geneva. This year the list of the best cars of the planet includes only crossovers: Audi Q5, Volkswagen Tiguan and Jaguar F-pace.
In a competition there are also other nominations: the best luxury car (BMW 5 Series, Mercedes-Benz E-Class and Volvo S90 / V90 are presented in this nomination), the best ecomobile (Tesla Model X, Chevrolet Bolt and Toyota Prius Prime), the best sports car (Audi R8 Spyder, McLaren 570S and Porsche Boxter Cayman) and the best city car (BMW i3, Citroën C3 and Suzuki Ignis).
The results of a competition will be summed up at other auto show in New York. The exhibition will be opened there in the middle of April.
"The best car of the world" is being chosen since 2005. The jury consists of 73 journalists from all over the world.
