Due to low demand for the model, the company is going
to abandon this type of body Audi A3 in favor of a more practical modification.
Representatives of the German brand said that the sedan and five-door hatchback
are much more popular among buyers, in this regard, they will remain in the
line with a change of generation.
It will not happen quickly. The model will be produced
at least until 2019. But in 2020, there will be a change of generation from
which there will be a novelty - the Audi A3 Sportback in the body of the
universal. The manufacturer also does not rule out the appearance in 2021 of
the Audi A3 Avant.
Build a new generation of Audi A3 on the new long
modular platform, thanks to which all modifications of the model will become
more spacious.
As before, in the
world market Audi A3 new generation will compete for customers with the BMW
1-Series and Mercedes-Benz A-Class.
