You may already know automaker Torsus and its two upcoming production cars, the massive Praetorian bus based on a MAN truck and the Terrastorm van with VW underpinnings. Both can now be specified in the company’s newly launched online configurator.
The app offers a multitude of upgrade opportunities for both the Praetorian (€162,000+) and the Terrastorm (€55,665+). You can choose your desired trim level, body kit, exterior equipment, and technical features.
After playing around with the configurator for a while, Motor1 came up with this nice suspension-lifted, AWD-packing party bus for 35 passengers. The starting point was a Personal Freedom spec with no seats beyond the cab. A MAN diesel engine with 300 PS (296 hp / 221 kW) and 1,150 Nm (848 lb-ft) of torque slotted into the engine bay. The rear suspension was upgraded to pneumatic, disc brakes were installed all around, and wading depth was increased to 680 mm (26.5 inches).
