VW and JAC Motors unveil SOL E20X

SOL E20X, an all-electric car concept designed by VW Group’s Seat, has debuted at the 2018 Auto China show currently running in Beijing, China. Apparently, SOL is a new China-only car brand founded and owned by VW and JAC Motors.

The car utilizes the JAC iEV7S platform and should make it into series later this year. It uses an electric engine manufacturer-rated at 116 hp (87 kW) and 270 Nm (200 lb·ft) of torque, and can travel as far as 300 km (187 mi) on a single charge.

With its edgy headlights and fog lamps, slit-like brake lights, slanted roof and stylish five-spoke wheels, the new SOL E20X should clearly appeal to the younger audience.

Base trim comes with an 8-inch infotainment screen, an all-digital instrument panel which is easy to follow, a Wi-Fi hotspot, keyless-go, a surround view system and a blind spot monitor.
