The U.S.-based car company Vanderhall Motor just unveiled their latest project, a highly unusual three-wheel, compact, battery-powered sports car titled Edison2.
The original vehicle premiered at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 in Las-Vegas, U.S.A.
Edison2 is based on the Laguna roadster, which ships with a 1.4L, 200 hp turbocharged gasoline engine. The all-electric car comes equipped with two engines yielding 180 horsepower and 245 Nm torque in total and a battery set that allows it to run 320 kilometers (200 miles) on full charge.
In a rather ambitious-sounding statement, Vanderhall Motor claimed it has created “the fastest car in the company’s history”. Edison2 can accelerate 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in three seconds and travel at max. 170 km/h (105 mph).
The tricycle car should be available for purchase at U.S. $34,950 and above starting this summer.
