The famous Italy-based automotive design company Italdesign will style the exterior of two all-new car models currently developed by the Vietnamese automaker Vinfast.
Not much is being revealed about the collaboration project at the moment, except that one of the new releases will be a sedan and the other a crossover utility vehicle. Reportedly, one of these (we don’t know which) will get an IC engine, whereas the other will be full-electric. Both should see their market release in a couple years.
Interestingly, a similar news appeared about a month ago stating that Vinfast will hire Pininfarina for the job instead. Over 20 sketches have been proposed by the Italian coachbuilder, of which two were selected for mass production until the end of 2019.
