On the eve of the appearance of the third generation
of the crossover, to finally not lose the attention of the brand's fans to the
current model, a new modification was prepared for it, called Wolfsburg
Edition.
A special version of the Volkswagen Touareg appeared
in place of the Business kit, which ceased to exist. Wolfsburg Edition from
standard variations of the crossover will feature rich equipment and decorative
elements.
In the exterior of the car there were chrome trim on
the bumper and thresholds, blacked-out taillights, black exterior mirrors, a
set of exclusive 19-inch disks, and on the middle racks, the plates with the
coat of arms of Wolfsburg flaunt.
The interior was decorated with gray-black tones. All
seats are upholstered in natural leather and heated, and the front is equipped
with electric drive and ventilation. Steel plates appeared on the pedals and
thresholds.
The engine range of the special version of the
Volkswagen Touareg Wolfsburg Edition is represented by three units: a 3,0-liter
V6 petrol engine with a capacity of 249 horsepower and the same turbodiesel at
two stages of forcing - 204 and 245 forces.
