German carmaker Volkswagen presented Atlas Weekend Edition, version of the crossover for week-end, within Chicago showroom. Mostly, the version differs only in an expanded set of accessories for outdoor recreation.
Under the hood there is VR6 engine with a working volume of 3,6 liters cylinders and 276 horsepowers. 8-staged "automatics" and system of a full drive 4Motion works together with this engine.
The model of "day off" has a 501-liter roof cargo box Calix Urban Loader, fastenings for the bicycle, kayaks, skis and snowboards, and gray 18-inch Prisma disks.
Safety barrier for pets, reflectors, luggage cover, special floor mats, holders to pads and many other accessories for trips into the countryside are delivered in a set. All set will be available from dealers after start of sales of Atlas in April, 2017.
