The U.A.E.-based W Motors dispelled the shroud of mystery surrounding its latest hypercar model Fenyr SuperSport which had premiered at the Dubai Motorshow in 2015. Production plans exist for only 25 of these strikingly beautiful and immensely powerful cars.
The rear-driven high-end sports vehicle features a carbon fiber body which rests on a super heavy-duty aluminum chassis. State-of-the-art materials allow it to weigh as low as 1,200 kilograms (2,645 lbs). A unique 4-liter, twin-turbo, opposed-cylinder engine sets the vehicle in motion with beastly 900 horsepower and 1,200 Nm torque. The car bolts to 100 km/h (60 mph) in mere 2.7 seconds and peaks out at unbelievable 400 km/h (~250 mph).
The new Fenyr SuperSport gets model-exclusive carbon fiber seats, an infotainment system, a navigation system, an LTE Wi-Fi access point, a digital fascia board, and a rear view camera. No information has been disclosed about the price of the top-end vehicle.
