Premium subbrand of the
Chinese automaker Great Wall Motors started the sale of a new luxury crossover
Wey VV5 in the home market. This is the second model of the brand.
The novelty received the
following dimensions: length - 4462 mm, width - 1857 mm, height - 1638 mm and
wheelbase size 2950 mm.
It will be available to
purchase a car with a 2.0-liter turbo engine with 197horsepower, borrowed
from the Haval H6. It will work be paired with a seven-band robotic
gearbox with a double clutch. The drive is front only.
Dynamic characteristics of
the novelty are as following: Acceleration to 100 km / h takes 8.9 seconds, and
its maximum speed is 190 km / h.
The crossover is offered in
two versions - basic and improved. The first version is equipped with a leather
interior, an emergency automatic braking system, front and side airbags,
19-inch wheels, an infotainment system with a 9-inch touchscreen. And the
second one got 20-inch "rollers", a digital dashboard, automatic
parking systems and warnings about leaving the occupied lane, and many other
options.
The cost of Wey VV5 in the
home market will be in the range of 150,000 to 163,000 yuan. Will the novelty
be presented in other countries - it is not known.
