The German manufacturer of sports cars Wiesmann has made a deal on delivering of petrol power units V8 of series S63 for company M GmbH. It means only one thing: on the roads will again appear sports cars, the creators of which are known for their passion for retro-stylistics.
As the information on the Internet, the revived cars will be equipped with turbocharged engines of 4.4 liters. These units are well proven on the "charged" BMW M5, M6, X5M and X6M. The most powerful engine modification is capable of delivering 600 hp. and 750 Nm of torque. There is no any information of the engine power in Wiesmann.
Recall, in 2014 Wiesman was forced to stop the production of cars due to financial difficulties. However, a year later, it became known, that the rights to the brand were transferred to British investors, who were determined to revive the production of sports cars.
The last model of the German company was the Wiesmann GT MF4-CS with a BMW V8 engine rated at 420 hp. The sports car accelerated from zero to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds, and its maximum speed reached almost 300 km/h.
