Very soon in Tokyo will be a major motor show. Especially for this event, Yamaha is preparing a presentation of a new conceptual sports car. Interesting is the fact that the car was developed with the assistance of the creator of McLaren F1 and the new TVR Griffith - Gordon Murray.
By the way, the novelty is created using iStream technology. This means that when making a prototype, carbon fiber elements were widely used, the body parts were assembled into blocks, followed by the final part of the machine assembly, which implied the connection of the blocks according to the design principle.
While information about the prototype from Yamaha is very small, but it is known that the car will be close in size to the Smart Roadster, and its mass does not exceed 900 kilograms. The car will receive a turbocharged engine of 1 liter. It is planned that its power will be about 100 horsepower.
The first prototype of the ultralight sports coupe Yamaha presented at the Tokyo Motor Show in 2015. Body panels of the concept car Sports Ride, made of carbon fiber, and its power plant was also a three-cylinder liter engine.
