Fiat tuner Abarth will be issuing 695 units of the 695 Tributo 131 Rally, a custom coupe inspired by the legendary Abarth 131 rally racer that finished its career 40 years ago.
The car came out in 1976 and continued to participate in championships for another six years, earning its pilots 18 international victories and a slew of other prestigious awards.
Its modern reincarnation will utilize a 1.4-liter engine tuned to 180 PS (177 hp / 132 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. It will sprint 0-100 km/h (0-62 mph) in 6.7 seconds and max out at 225 km/h (140 mph). A Record Monza Sovrapposto exhaust system will ensure it sounds no worse than the original did.
Other notable modifications include Brembo four-piston calipers and Koni FSD shocks all around, as well as an upsized rear spoiler that generates plenty of downforce and can be adjusted as necessary.
Inside the cabin, seats will be trimmed with fabric and decorated with blue inserts and stitching. Alcantara will be used for the dash panel.
All pricing details remain to be announced.
