Paul Walker’s Shelby Cobra goes up on sale in March

There are only two Shelby 427 Cobra FAM CSX1000 sports cars in existence, and this example belonged to the late Fast & Furious star Paul Walker.

Shelby dedicated the ultra-exclusive vehicle to its victory over Ferrari 55 years ago. The CSX1000 Series consisted of 14 units, but of those, only two had infamous “FAM” number plates. The abbreviation refers to an indecent phrase Carroll Shelby slapped Ferrari with after losing a race in 1964.

The American racer with the chassis number CSX1010 does its best Italian impression with its exterior and cabin. It wears a Rosso Corsa paintjob and is the only one in the series to come with a cabin wrapped in yellow and brown leather.

Powering the ride is a 7.0-liter Ford V8 rated at 550 PS (542 hp / 404 kW) and paired up with a Tremec manual gearbox.

The price remains unannounced, but the same Cobra fetched its former owner U.S. $395,000 in 2017. Back then, it still had 25 kilometers (15 miles) on the odo and was never registered as a road-legal vehicle.
