Acura brought its RDX Prototype to the Detroit show

Acura, a Japanese premium car manufacturer, has revealed its latest RDX Prototype compact crossover at the International Motor Show in Detroit, U.S.A.

Industry-savvy professionals claim that the car, while only a prototype at the moment, is nonetheless ready for mass production. Having drawn design inspiration from the Precision Concept unveiled two years ago, it manages to appear fresh and stylish.

According to official representatives of the brand, the Acura RDX Prototype had been developed in the U.S. subdivision of Acura and uses a brand-new, proprietarily designed chassis.

Belonging to the luxury car market, the Acura RDX offers a wide selection of interior finishing and customization options. Its base version still gets an infotainment system with an enormous True Touchpad display, a projector display, and a large number of electronic assistance features.

The company has also announced the forthcoming release of a sports-oriented modification of the car, which will be known as A-Spec.

All prices remain undisclosed.
