Acura has posted a short video demonstrating the rear end of an upcoming Integra revival. A friendly warning to all classical Integra coupe enthusiasts: the new car looks rather like a five-door Sportback instead.
The roof is wide, low and long, and culminates in a slim spoiler. The taillights sport a modern and clean design without sharp lines or bulky elements.
Other than this, there is very little we know about the resurrected Integra model at the moment. Earlier teasers implied front end similarities with the current TLX Type S, and the new video also gives of vague TLX vibes.
From the technical point of view, the car will be based on the latest Honda Civic, which means moderate amounts of turbocharged power and front-wheel drive. An electrified variant could also be released later.
The premiere is expected in the spring of 2022.
