Soon after Honda unveiled its revived Integra model for China (shown on the other photos in our gallery here), Acura followed up with a video teaser showing its North American counterpart. Aside from noticeable design changes, it will evidently also be available with manual transmission.
Offering stick shift with the Integra is quite logical, because this is what its predecessors had for transmission. The video starts with showing an OG ‘Teg gear lever of the first-gen model. It switches into second gear and morphs into a five-speed manual box of the second-gen Integra. The three subsequent scenes repeat the same trick, culminating in a modern six-speed shifter with red accents.
In all likelihood, the car will be identical to the latest Honda Civic hatchback in terms of interior trim materials and dashboard/center console layout. The launch remains scheduled for the spring of 2022.
