Acura Integra set to debut on November 11, here’s what we know

Following the announcement of an Acura Integra revival coming to the market from a few months ago, the company has now confirmed that a pre-production variant of the car is set to debut on Thursday, November 11, 2021.

Based on all the teaser photos, short videos and a spy shot in our gallery below, the car essentially represents a badge-engineered Honda Civic. Aside from being evidently based on the same platform, it shares the same manual transmission with it (shown in the third video trailer here).

Having said that, there seem to be differences as well. As the spy photo suggests, the new Integra has its own front end, including headlights, radiator grille and vents.

The first-gen Integra came in multiple body styles to choose from, including liftback. The new one seems to be set on the same course, because some of the teasers reveal a tailgate where the trunk lid usually is found on the latest generation.

Meanwhile, Acura is already offering an Integra sedan in China, which is also based on the Honda Civic and comes powered by a turbocharged engine rated at 182 PS (179 hp / 134 kW, no other options).
