Acura Integra has sights set on Pikes Peak

The racecar version of the resurrected Acura Integra will debut soon and take part in the anniversary Pikes Peak International Hill Climb set to take place in late June. An NSX Type S and a TLX Type will also compete in the race.

The track-only Integra dons a colorful livery paying homage to its first-gen ancestor, which won the IMSA championships back in 1987 and 1988. Powering the new car is a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 204 PS (201 hp / 150 kW) and 260 Nm (192 lb-ft) of torque, which a six-speed manual gearbox transmits to the wheels.

Elsewhere, the racer benefits from numerous HPD parts, including brake components, suspension pats and a differential. It will be riding to the clouds on 18-inch HRE wheels shod in Pirelli 245 series tires.
