Prices for many Japanese sports cars have skyrocketed lately, prompting many first-gen NSX owners to keep their rides in conditioned garages, rather than using them. Luckily for us tuning aficionados, Chris Cut actually loves driving his NSX cross-country – so much, in fact, that he attached another smaller NSX to it to use as a camper.
If that sounds bizarre, that’s because it is. The trailer attachment is made of a second Acura NSX body – more specifically, its rear half. It features a roof tent and a large trunk compartment to store all the necessities.
Shockingly enough, the tandem is street-legal in California thanks to having DMV-approved turn blinkers and taillights. Chris even went through the pain of ensuring that the car and the trailer look completely identical as far as the finish, the wheels and the carbon fiber décor.
