The premium car manufacturer Acura has announced the price range for the next series of its RDX off-roaders. Sales will launch on June one, with the entry-level model available at U.S. $37,000 and above.
In its bare-bone basic version, the car comes front-driven, but you may opt for an AWD model starting at U.S. $39,000. The A-spec trim level costs at least $43,500 for the front drive and around $2,000 above that for the AWD.
The top-end Acura RDX Advance will be priced between U.S. $45,000 and $47,000.
Base equipment includes emergency brake, lane control, adaptive cruise control, an infotainment system, and a number of assists.
The drivetrain encompasses a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder gasoline turbo engine producing north of 270 hp (200 kW) and 380 Nm (280 lb·ft) of torque and a 10-speed automatic transmission.
The manufacturer seed Infiniti QX50, Lexus NX, Lincoln MKC, Volvo XC60, Audi Q5, and BMW X3 as the principal market rivals of the new Acura RDX.
