Sony and Honda have unveiled a new car marque, Afeela, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The concept car they revealed is scheduled to reach production in 2025 and go on sale the following year.
As far as the photos allow to judge, we’d say the car is inspired by Sony’s much-lauded Vision-S Concept from a few years ago. One of its main features is a nose-mounted display that can display the brand name and some relevant information, like the remaining charge percentage.
The interior is identical to that of the Vision-S except for the steering yoke and the shape of the center console.
The feature list notably mentions a semi-autonomous driving system comprising 45 sensors and cameras mounted outside and inside the car. A Qualcomm chipset is used for the processing of data.
