Chinese IT giant Huawei has shared some pictures of the Aito M9, a full-size crossover SUV that it plans to launch in Q3 2023 as an alternative to the Mercedes-Benz GLS and the Range Rover.
It is official that the tech company’s next automobile will run on electric power alone, but a serial-hybrid alternative called EREV will also be offered with a petrol engine generating power for the main motor(s). Any specifics beyond that remain to be revealed.
Unofficial sources are reporting that the SUV will take advantage of four-wheel steering and air-ride suspension in the main spec, as well as Matrix LED headlights. The rumored dimensions are as follows: length – 5.2 meters (17.06 feet), wheelbase – 3 meters (9.84 feet). The interior could house 4, 6 or 7 seats.
We should be able to learn more soon, since the launch in China is planned for the current quarter.
