The AITO M5 SUV, which is currently only available as a range-extender hybrid, will go on sale as a full-blown EV in September.
In its most basic form, the M5 will have a single electric motor driving its rear axle with 272 PS (268 hp / 200 kW). The dual-motor version will drive both axles with a combined effort of 496 PS (489 hp / 365 kW). An 80-kWh LiFePo4 battery pack will be sufficient for 540 kilometers (335 miles) of range in the single-motor spec and 500 km (310 miles) in the dual-motor spec.
You will recognize the AITO M5 EV on the street by its smaller fake grille compared to the full-size grille of the hybrid version (see video).
