Alfa Romeo teases a limited-edition flagship

The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is a supercar that will be limited to 33 units when it comes out and be extensively customizable, but you won’t be able to buy one because the entire production batch has already been sold out.

The Italian automaker calls the 33 Stradale ‘a revival’ of the iconic model number 33 dating back to 1967, hence all the visual references. The exterior looks rather posh, while the cabin is minimalistic and emanates light retro vibes. A digital dashboard is the only jarring part, and while the company also mentions a pop-up infotainment screen, it is not visible in the photos.

From the design perspective, the car utilizes a carbon-fiber monocoque with aluminum components. In its most basic version, it runs on a modified version of the company’s proprietary 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 engine rated at 620 PS (612 hp / 456 kW).

Those looking for a more modern experience may order a 750-PS (740-hp / 552-kW) electric version with 450 km (280 miles) of range per charge. Regardless of the powertrain type, the resurrected 33 Stradale hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in under three seconds and maxes out at 333 km/h (207 mph).
