The renowned Italian car brand Alfa Romeo has announced a forthcoming “major overhaul” of its 4C sports vehicle. The car suffers from low sales numbers despite the numerous tech-heavy features it comes equipped with. According to Roberto Fedeli, CTO of Alfa Romeo and Maserati, the company sees the need to address this issue right now.
In addition to some exterior changes, the new Alfa Romeo 4C should get a few upgrades under the hood. These include reworked suspension and better steering wheel, as well as an automatic gearbox – according to Mr. Fedeli, manual transmission isn’t worth bothering with for cars like these. As far as the engine is concerned, there is still no information available.
The new Alfa Romeo 4C is scheduled for its show debut in autumn 2018, with sales following early in 2019.
