Alfa Romeo makes a return to the F1

Alfa Romeo has confirmed that it is going to start participating in the Formula One World Championship again after a 30-year hiatus. It has also revealed its vehicle of choice for the 2018 race – an impressive red-and-white ride with a brand logo in the rear.

It is powered by the latest Ferrari engine and features Halo – a recent universally adopted safety measure which protects the driver’s head during the race.

The Alpha Romeo F1 team will be headed by Marcus Ericsson and Charles LeClair for 2018 – the latter, by the way, is a champion of Formula Two.

As we have told you earlier, such Royal Race participants as Red Bull, Williams, and Haas have already unveiled their new racing vehicles for this year’s event. The race itself begins in Australia on March 22nd, 2018.
