Alfa Romeo has announced the launch of its first all-electric vehicle in 2024. It will be a subcompact crossover SUV ranking below the Tonale (see video). Like other upcoming Alfa Romeo EVs, it is on track to get a high-end Quadrifoglio version.
Talking to CarSales Magazine, the CEO of the company revealed a few interesting bits of info regarding these performance cars. For one, Alfa Romeo wants to make sure they all produce between 900 and 1,000 metric horsepower (888-986 American hp; 662-735 kW, respectively).
He added that all Quadrifoglio cars not running on fossil fuels will benefit from high-efficiency next-gen batteries. The technology will continue to be polished to ensure that these models stay ahead of the competition in their segment.
