Check out a bizarre 2-in-1 Alfa Romeo build from South Africa

An Alfa Romeo fan from the South African Republic created a unique vehicle by combining the Brera hatchback with the 159 sedan. Despite not being a professional tuner, he ended up with a rather solid-looking vehicle.

The Italian carmaker produced the model number 159 from 2004 until 2011 and sold the Brera from 2005 until 2010. The goal of the project was to merge the aesthetics of the Brera with the practicality of the 159. Before he started, the enthusiast took care to model the build on a PC to see how it would work.

He then welded the Brera rear end to the 159 and finished the body in a shade of red. The powertrain remained untouched, which means a 3.2-liter V6 still supplies 260 PS (256 hp / 191 kW) and 322 Nm (237 lb-ft) of torque to all four wheels. Some bits remain unfinished: the car is missing its rear windshield and certain trim pieces.
