Not very gay news for all fans of the Italian brand. The company announced the postponement of the presentation of the updated Giulia coupe. As the media writes, the premiere will take place only at the end of next year. Recall earlier reported that you can see the novelty at the Geneva Motor Show in March, but, apparently, not destiny. By the way, the company positions Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint as a direct and serious competitor for Mercedes-Benz C-Class Coupe, BMW 4-SeriesCoupe and AudiA5 Coupe.
According to the available information, the basis of the new car will be the Giorgio platform. Under the hood of the coupe will hide a turbocharged petrol unit V6 with a volume of 2.9 liters. However, the manufacturer prefers to keep silent about the dynamics of the car. By the way, in addition to the above-mentioned engine, the Giulia Sprint will receive a 2-liter petrol and 2.2-liter diesel units.
Giulia Sprint is not the only delayed premiere from Alfa Romeo. The public has not yet seen the representative sedan under the supposed name Alfetta, which was supposed to compete with the BMW 5-Series. This machine will remain "under the tarpaulin" until 2021.
