Alfa Romeo has taken the wraps off a very special Giulia Quadrifoglio supercar flaunting a shimmering golden livery. The one-off creation will never hit mass production; instead, it will participate in the upcoming 2019 Mille Miglia race.
According to Alfa Romeo, the choice of color is anything but accidental. In fact, it is the same yellow/orange hue as some AR models used to wear in the 1960s and 70s.
Powering the unique Giulia Quadrifoglio is the standard 2.9-liter V6 TT engine good for 503 hp (375 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lbĂ—ft) of torque. The series ships with a choice between eight-speed automatic and six-speed manual transmission, but there is no mention of which one runs under the hood of this particular car.
