There are precious few engines McChip-DKR wouldn’t know what to do with. This Giulia Quadrifoglio is the performance tuner’s latest work. There are three different power kits available for the vehicle’s 2.9-liter V6 TT, but the Stage 3 kit is predictably where things get truly interesting.
The team behind McChip-DKR has managed to squeeze an additional 170 hp (127 kW) and 250 Nm (184 pound-feet) of torque out of the drivetrain, bringing the grand total to 680 hp (507 kW) and 850 Nm (627 lb-ft).
The numbers sound quite amazing as is, but they gain a whole new meaning when you realize this particular Giulia Quadrifoglio stands 10 hp (7 kW) and 90 Nm (65 lb-ft) above the formidable Ferrari 488 GTB. Humiliating the Italian supercar does not come cheaply, though: the upgrade costs €15,589. As a neat bonus, the tuner will also remove the speed cap, enabling acceleration all the way to 313 km/h (194 mph).
In its stock form, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio fights in the league of the BMW M3 and the Mercedes-AMG C63.
