Alfa Romeo is working on a two-door modification of the Giulia coupe. The car will go on sale in 2019.
One of the main highlights of the release is a hybrid-powered model that will hit the market with a 2.9-liter gasoline engine, an electric motor, and regenerative brake. Its performance is manufacturer-estimated at 650 hp (485 kW), which means that the car will rival the BMW M4 DTM and Audi RS5 once it makes it into the showrooms. A number of diesel and gasoline engines will be made available as well.
The original Alfa Romeo Giulia concept debuted at the Frankfurt International Motor Show in 2015.
