Alfa Romeo sold out its planned production run of 500 Giulia GTA and GTAm sports cars last year, leaving some fans wanting. PariS’5 GaraGe, an aftermarket shop from Italy, decided to fill in the gap and design a highly accurate replica.
The car ended up with a new bumper sporting enlarged air intakes, an elaborate carbon splitter, a ventilated hood and side sill extensions. The wheel arches and their gill-like air openings all around have been made larger, too, and a massive rear wing was put on the rear end along with a new diffuser and two exhaust finishers.
The wheels on the project car do not feature a centerlock design like the original does, but other than that, the imitation is indeed quite accurate. Powering it is a Giulia Quadrifoglio engine rated at 510 PS (503 hp / 375 kW) – just 30 horsepower less than the GTAm has at its disposal.
Last but hardly least, the project car benefits from sports-friendly suspension tweaks and weighs around 100 kilograms (220 pounds) less than it did before the conversion. Prices begin from €9,100 for a composite body kit. Going for the more expensive Kevlar version will set you back around 30 percent more than that, and opting for pure carbon fiber will be even more expensive – in fact, PariS’5 GaraGe wants you contacting them directly for a quotation in that case.
