An exotic Alfa Romeo Giulia GTAm is up for grabs in Russia right now for an asking price of 26,000,000 Rubles (~378,000 USD). It is the ultimate version of the latest-gen Giulia sedan that came out in 2020, although the seller claims this example was assembled in 2022.
The GTAm is a track-focused modification of the iconic Giulia (see video). As such, it only has two bucket seats and the front and a roll cage at the back.
Compared to the stock model, the track tool benefits from a wider track and more carbon fiber all around – not just much of the bodywork, but even the driveshaft is made of the lightweight material. The aero kit looks much more aggressive, and the street-legal exhaust system makes room for an Akrapovic straight-piped unit.
The 2.9-liter engine stems from the Giulia Quadrifoglio lineup, but enjoys a bump from 510 to 540 metric horsepower. Going from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) takes 3.6 seconds.
The automaker has made 500 GTA units in total, including the standard spec and the top GTAm spec. The whole production run was sold out in September 2020, roughly six months after the premiere. The car on sale in Russia reportedly has 850 km (528 miles) on the odo.
