Clothing store turns an Alfa Romeo GTV into a posh restomod

U.S.-based premium clothing manufacturer Aether Apparel has come out with an SUV based on the iconic Alfa Romeo GTV6. Let’s see what it is all about.

According to the fashion marque, Aether clothing is designed with urban use in mind, but it doesn’t mean you cannot go hiking in it. This is the reasoning behind the restomod.

The project was carried out by Oil Stain Lab. The team took a car produced in 1985, scanned it end-to-end and took it completely apart. All worn-out parts were swapped out for newly machined ones, the road clearance raised by a whopping 165 millimeters (6.45 inches), heavy-duty bumpers and powerful lights came to replace OEM ones, and a spoiler was added at the rear. A roll cage was added to the restored cabin.

The restomod draws its power from a 2.5-liter Busso V6 rated at 160 PS (158 hp / 118 kW) and 213 Nm (157 lb-ft) of torque.
