As Alfa Romeo is wrapping up the tests of its new electric CUV called the Junior in Europe, it discovered an error in the original presentation of the car, which claimed it had only 240 PS (237 hp / 177 kW).
As it has turned out, the range-topping Veloce spec delivers a healthy 280 PS (276 hp / 206 kW) to the front axle. The torque reaches 345 Nm (254 lb-ft). The Junior Veloce uses one electric motor at the front axle, a lockable Torsen differential and four-piston front brakes. It rides on 20-inch wheels and sits 25 mm (1 inch) lower than the base version.
Sales in Europe start in September.
