Alfa Romeo seems to know something about 2021 that we don’t: in its new Stelvio Veloce Ti Edition, the “Veloce” part stands for “fast” and “Ti” for “Turismo Internazionale”, or “international tourism”. Here’s to optimism, though!
Compared against the production model, the special Stelvio has its own front bumper design, a body kit painted to match the rest of the body, and new 21-inch wheels with a black finish. The cabin is dark and houses sport seats wrapped in artificial suede and leather. Carbon inserts and emblems saying “Stelvio”, “Veloce Ti” and “Q4” round things off on the inside.
The car draws its power from a two-liter turbocharged gasoline engine rated at 280 PS (276 hp / 206 kW), although you may alternatively pick a 2.2-liter turbo diesel good for 210 PS (207 hp / 154 kW). Both use an eight-speed auto transmission to drive all four wheels.
Along with the announcement, Alfa Romeo has launched pre-orders for the 2021 Giulia sedan and the Stelvio SUV. Both are now compliant with the Euro 6d-Final standard.
