The Italian automaker is no longer so eager to go full-on electric in a few years.
This is evidenced by a message from the company’s CEO in North America to the local dealerships. The letter acknowledges the desperate financial situation these dealerships are in and says that poor-selling EVs will no longer be a priority for the brand.
It also claims that from this year onward, Alfa Romeo will pursue a “multi-energy strategy” in the United States, which means producing balanced quantities of cars with internal combustion engines, electric motors, and both.
